Sex Trafficking

Every Tuesday morning at 7AM we gather to pray as a community in Doak Walker Plaza.

This week we're praying for an end to the exploitation of human lives in sex trafficking. Here are this week's prayer points:

1. Justice.

Pray what is done in the dark will be brought and exposed to the light.

For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light.
— Luke 8:17
He uncovers the deeps out of darkness and brings deep darkness to light.
— Job 12:22

2. Rescued and Restoration.

Pray God will bring divine rescue and restoration to those trapped in darkness.

For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.
— Luke 19:10
In your righteousness deliver me and rescue me; incline your ear to me, and save me!
— Psalm 71:2

3. A decrease in demand.

Pray for bonds of sexual addiction to be broken off.

He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and burst their bonds apart.
— Psalm 107:14

4. Awareness.

Pray for an increased awareness and outcry among the general public. That hearts would be stirred towards seeing this injustice addressed through social programs, community outreach, and legal prosecution. Pray that NGOs would receive favor with legal officials in this spheres as they fight trafficking on the frontlines.

learn to do good;
seek justice, correct oppression;
bring justice to the fatherless,
plead the widow’s cause.
— Isaiah 1:17
